We all make mistakes from time to time and yet the better technology gets, the higher the expectations. I've really known how to balance my own demands with the recognition that mistakes happen and you have to put them behind you, but one trend that I don't particularly care for is the permanence that mistakes are starting to have. Forgiveness is devine, but forgetfulness is what allows us to continue on after stumbling. In a world where there is a permanent record, a small mistatement or lapse of judgement could haunt you for years. While it's tempting to publicize even minor disagreements, I think it's important to remember that deep down inside we all make mistakes and our human.

It always surprising me when people contact me and tell me that they think I'm an expert at something. While I know a lot about life, there are many people who are way more qualified than I am to talk on various subjects. I'm not sure if its because Google boosts blog entries higher than everyone else or if there really is something unique to the insights that I share, but its always flattering to have someone ask for my opinion, when deep down inside I'm just an enthusiast.
